Cotton, Shires and Associates, Inc. (CSA) was established in Los Gatos, California in 1974. CSA has an additional office in San Andreas. CSA is a geotechnical and civil engineering and engineering geologic firm offering services with regard to geotechnical and civil engineering, geologic characterization, hazard analysis, and engineering mitigation of adverse geological conditions.

CSA’s staff includes highly trained and licensed professionals with advanced degrees in the fields of geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, engineering geology, hydrogeology, geophysics, and fluvial geomorphology. Our staff has broad experience in producing, evaluating and utilizing geotechnical, geologic and hydrologic data.
